I received a warm reception from beginning to the end.

The location is great, the staff very nice, friendly and attentive including the cleaners.

I had great expectations of the Hotel and of the US in general (having lived in Canada and Denton, Texas before). I however, never liked the fact that for such high cost of the hotel accommodation, there was no daily complimentary bottle of water in the room; no flask and complimentary coffee, tea and beverages in each room. Water for me and in my culture, is a sign of life and hospitality. It is the first thing a visitor is given. There was also no complementary breakfast! For a newcomer, l would have loved bed and breakfast. I also didn't like the fact that l was scammed on the 27th February, 2024 at about 7.00pm, Nigerian time (2.00pm Cambridge time) when l called the hotel. A total of 821 USD was removed from my account after l called to complain about my inability to log in. The lady who answered my call identified herself as "Ally". I asked her to reserve accomodation for me since l had difficulty logging in. She collected my bank details and immediately deducted over $800.00 as she told me it was first come, first served and since the period l would be arriving for my training would be very busy, l may not get accomodation and that l may have to pay more! I trusted her since it was the hotel number l used hoping that l would receive my money back as l was later able to book online. I reported at the reception upon arrival at the Hotel on the 24th of March, 2024, only to be told there was no Ally and no documentation of the transaction. The Management should please consider these issues seriously especially those who defraud people thereby tarnishing the image of your Hotel. I Thank the Manager, Mr. Richard Carbone for giving me a listening ear and promising to investigate the case further. Thank you Sir. Thank you for booking the taxi for my colleague and l. God bless you and your staff. Other than these experiences I am ok.

We reserved 2 beds and one of the mattress was old and over used.

Great location, very clean, but very basic.

Front desk staff was very attentive and helpful. Offered to store my bags before and after checkout.

Bed was small and way too soft and hurt my back. Not enough towels or tp in bathroom. No snacks in coffee area. I expected nicer facilities and more perks for the price.

Clean nice location.

Facility staff was noisy in the hallway just before 9 am. Walls are very thin. We left right afterwards. Not sure why they knocked on our door but they woke us up.

Superb

The location is excellent, with bus and subway station right outside the hotel, easy to get anywhere in Boston. the hotel is next to the Harvard campus and the Art Museum, I went to the Harvard campus every day during my stay. There is a wide range of Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Chinese and local food nearby, and I ate every kind in turn during my stay, all of which were very good. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and there was a lovely room service aunt, thank you very much. All in all, a very satisfying experience and I will be back here next time I am in Boston.

The location is the winning factor! The price was ok too.

The showers could be better — handheld pressure type. Some more in-house facilities may be a good add on. My room was in the bus holding point side so there was no view plus the busses noise from their brakes was a distraction. A room in the other side with street view may have been better. But no complaints.

not worth spending over $400 on a room that doesn’t allow for weather conditions to dictate whether they can use air or

no air conditioning (in mid-October), small window to open, loud street noises so sleep was impossible. wouldn’t allow an extra hour before checkout, only to find out 5 hours later when we went to pick up our bags that the room still wasn’t cleaned.

We paid a 5 star luxury hotel price for a backpacker hotel.

The location is excellent. The room was clean, and although very small, it was planned so that we had, e.g. a mini ironing board and iron, little slot hanging space. The decor was good.

The bed was tiny (though comfortable). They say it's a USA queen, but it was much smaller than 5' wide which I understand is the standard queen. The lift shaft went through our room, making it a strange shape and v small (hardly any room around the bed. The tv reception was poor which meant we could only get a few channels. The sockets on one side of the bed did not work. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room - you can get coffee and tea downstairs, but only till 3pm. Otherwise no food or drink facilities on site.
