Ran out of toilet paper at night

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and our breakfast at this small, traditional roadside motel. The room was recently completely redone, with modern flooring, a spotless bathroom, and a new and comfortable large bed. We ate an excellent breakfast there the next morning. A couple of minutes drive up the road let us to a pleasant riverside park and boardwalk, with a tiny craft brewery and a very good little bistro overlooking the river. We had an excellent and unplanned evening in Newcastle, because this motel happened to have an available room, and we needed a pitstop between Gaspésie and Halifax. Five stars all around!

The bathroom seems to have been updated recently and is bright and clean.

The rest of the room is quite run down and the covers are quite old with a bit of odour. Not the worst I have seen but considered there were cheaper rooms just down the road closer to the highway.
