The home made breakfast was very good. Fresh fruit, oatmeal, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt coffee and tea and a wonderful frittata made with real eggs! Best breakfast we have ever had after an overnight stay! In a beautiful location on the shore or Cold Lake. You can see a beautiful sunset or sunrise from the room. Take the time to walk along the newly constructed walkway along the lake for stunning views.
Bed comfort varies greatly for each person. We were not uncomfortable but likely wouldn’t want to stay more than a night or two. But we also have back issues which makes our choice of bed more limited than most people. I was disappointed that there was no notification during online booking that room keys had to be picked up by 8PM, so I’m happy I had to call to let them know we were going to be later than expected. Luckily we were not from too far away, but for those arriving from out of town may not be very happy.
