I've stayed at Westins before and where never disappointed until now. The accommodations left a great deal to be desired. Carpets were duty and stained, no toiletries, no extra pillows or blankets and best of all, room service. Room service came in a paper bag, incomplete and with no condiments. What happened to Class! Your check-in desk left an uncomfortable feeling: no pleasant greeting or advise on what your hotel was offering that evening in the way of entertainment or pointing out direction of restaurant, pool etc. If they could not speak perhaps a pamphlet would be nice. It sometimes looked like a work area. All cluttered around the desk speaking with each other. A "Good Morning, how can we help", would be nice. Most valuable part of our stay was a tall Mexican valet who was most pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. He took the time to give directions and most of all smiled. Wish I had caught his name He new customer service.
