Lots to like if you can forgo modern comfort, but the bed still needs replacing

Good location. Walkable to everything in the French Quarter. Historical building. Cool quaint architecture and courtyard.

No elevator and a lot of staircases that were after-thoughts to the renovations over time. Going up and the back down was both interesting and weird. The stairs were steep making the climb difficult with luggage. Staff helped carry the luggage up and down. I changed rooms to the first floor to avoid this. Rooms were small. Bed was sagging in the middle making it hard to sleep. Sink was detached from the wall and rocked on its pedestal.

I would stay again, but only on ground level.

Great location, clean, friendly staff. very comfortable bed.

The STAIRS! Our room was on the top floor with no elevator and no rooms available on lower floors.

Great historic location in the Quarter

Location- very convenient to French Quarter and Riverside streetcar, I liked staying in more of a historic hotel- rather than cookie cutter

Water pressure in shower could have been better

Wonderful location but very much in need of a bathroom makeover,

We loved the location. We could walk everywhere we needed and wanted to go. We loved the charming exposed brick and old world feel.

The bathroom could use a serious upgrade. I understand it’s an old building and that’s part of the charm. But there’s nothing charming about peeling paint. I guess we were paying for the location, because the amenities were not worth the daily rate we paid.

great stay! due to the area I’d advise against staying out too late (lots of shady people about a block away towards bou

cute little hotel and walking distance from a lot of interesting places like the cathedral of Saint Louis and bud on street and the French market. super friendly staff great and convenient valet parking (granted no jerks where blocking the loading and unloading area)

the building sold and you can hear everyone’s conversation in the courtyard.

I had a great time!

the location is excellent. we stayed in room 5. the room was big, the bed was comfortable, and I loved people watching on the balcony.

it would be nice to have a vending machine to grab a water.

Hotel is centrally located in French Quarter

The bathroom was clean and roomy. The bed was large and TV was large screen. The hotel was centrally located in the French Quarter. Perry was friendly and helpful.

There was no dresser for our clothes and no place to put our luggage. There was no room on one side of the bed. There weren't enough hangers.

It was a great place to go stay at!

We loved how the place was older and had wood flooring and it was a little whole in the wall. It was walking distance to alot of things.

Great location however, Shower didn't work and sink slowly drained.

Location was great.

My shower didn't work and the bathroom sink didn't drain well. I reported it and nothing was done about it. They moved me to another room on my last night.

Poor

No smoking on the property at all even with paying more for the balcony. The walk to the rooms was very difficult to navigate. To get to my balcony I had to hold open a large window and there was no way to keep it open. And paid for a queen bed and got 2 doubles.

The trip was a great experience, I would highly recommend New Orleans.

The location is great, in the centre of the French Quarter but is also quiet. The bed was comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and efficient.

This hotel has very limited facilities and no lifts. Nobody to help to take a large and heavy suitcase up to the first floor. The shower had very low water pressure.
