A Cambridge House Inn

It is very basic, but clean and an excellent location. There also is free parking which is unusual these days. AC units in the window worked well, lots of outlets for devices. Plenty of towels too.

It is definitely not updated, but that is why the price is so reasonable for Cambridge! It is a simple clean room

This was the first time we stayed at a hotel with a Booking.com rating below 8. Several other higher-rated inns in the area require a minimum stay of two nights, while this place didn’t have such a requirement, which is why we chose it. The place was decent for our one-night stay. It’s a renovated historic property. We stayed in a “contemporary room” in the secondary building, rather than the main building where you check in. The room was fairly large, with plenty of closet and dresser space. The bathroom, however, felt a bit cramped. Considering that the hotel is located right on Mass Ave, it was actually fairly quiet. The neighborhood felt safe, with young families walking around at night. The sitting area in the main building offers free coffee and tea. It’s also a nice place to have breakfast, which we bought from Pemberton Farms Market across the street.

Shower temperature was uncontrollable. Bathroom dated. Room dated. Door didn’t feel secure
