The good: The front desk lady was very professional and pleasant. The central location was wonderful. The shower was super hot! That's a deal breaker for me. The little sitting area and the kitchenette was wonderful. The ice machine in the fridge worked amazing. The bathroom and bedroom were well stocked and very comfortable. The herbaceous shampoos and body wash were refreshing and convenient. I had more than enough towels and cloths for my stay and there were more than enough pillows.
The not so good: I had two TVs. None were smart. It's 2026. I have traveled to 3rd world countries that all had smart TVs and I could watch my Netflix. I can officially say that I caught up on reruns of dateline and forensic files and I remember how annoying commercials are and if I missed something...well...too bad, can't rewind! It was something that will make me choose another hotel next time.
Breakfast ended at 9am which is wayyy to early on vacation for me to get up for.
The pull out couch was broken but luckily that wasn't truly something we needed so we just lay on the couch.
The ugly: My children's room had a huge roach. Seems to be something that comes up often in reviews now that I am really looking at some other reviews.

Breakfast was pretty good. The area was clean and well attended. No complaints there
The bathroom light randomly goes off and on. The electrical outlet by the vanity didn’t work. There was some mold around the living room a/c vent. The a/c had been replaced and worked well but the installation was poorly done and had gaping areas around the unit. Overall not what I expected from a Homewood facility.
