Grandma's get away

It was clean

Balcony was facing a concrete wall. Wasn't facing the beach. Parking was terrible.

No me gusto, mala calidad y alto precio!!

El desayuno estuvo muy bien, lastimosamente no habian sufientes sillas ni mesas, pero la comida muy buena!!

Las camas estaban viejas, aguadas y las sabanas sucias, el sofá inservible y sucio, no apto para dormir ahi, en la ducha se encharcaba de agua por la suciedad en el desague, esta en muy buena ubicación, pero muy malos mubles y limpieza

Beautiful, clean place for family and friends.

The room was great, I enjoyed the stay, the room was clean, and it was my first time here. I would like to start staying here instead of where I normally stay (Galveston Beach Hotel). I think I overlook this one because its pricier.

I don't have any complaints. We enjoyed our stay. Maybe next time we will stay longer and have a better review to give. For the 1 night stay we have ZERO complaints. Thank you.

Overall had a pleasant stay for the couple of days we were there.

Overall the property was clean and the room was kept up. The location was nice and close to shopping if necessary and plenty of locations to dine within walking distance.

The water pressure in the shower was weak and the shower head was in need of replacement. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom to remove steam from showering. The doors to the lanai needed to be re-aligned to close properly. The outside traffic noise was very loud with the doors and windows closed.

Nice room and great location! Right next to Walmart and across from the beach. For the most part the full hot breakfast was great!

It's pointless to upgrade and get a balcony room if you want to see the beach. Balcony rooms face the Walmart parking lot, so you'll get a good view of that! For Breakfast, the eggs were over cooked and tasted like rubber.

I don't think I will stay there again. I'll spend the extra money to stay someplace a little nicer.

Desk clerk was very pleasant.

"Parking Garage" was a joke. There were only a handful of spots to park. Additional parking was available in the back of the building, but it did not feel secure and looked run down.

The property was fair!

The location and the breakfast was good!

The room was not clean at all! We had to clean it up ourselves! The dog was barking most of night & morning. Doors opening and closing loudly.

Very good

The bed was amazing, the bathroom was great with my walker and all. The staff was gorgeous, with there smile everywhere, welll almost every where..lol Breakfast was simpley enjoyable, variety in every direction. Make your own waffle to cereal, yogurt 😋 fruit, eggs, bacon, bangle with cream cheese and a little jelly....Yummy. see y'all in the funny papers...

No bar, no pool, no restaurant, NO ISSUES . More staff at front desk. No ramp to walk down to get to the beach.

I would only stay here again if the renovations were completed.

Good location and the rooms were quiet. The pool area was really clean and so liked the music that was playing.

Renovations were being done so it wasn’t as attractive as I am sure it will be in the future. Our room wasn’t cleaned after the first night and we didn’t receive clean towels. The person checking us in never smiled.

Would not stay there again.

Basic setup of room. The sofa faces the foot of the bed. No plastic cups provided. Very basic cable tv (not connected to the internet so no closed captions). Ai conditioner very noisy. Curtains wouldn’t work properly, had to reach up to curtain rods to manually open and close.

It was just ok. I wouldn’t select this property again.

Good breakfast and the hotel was close to the beach and other important places.

Property is going through renovations so there was construction going on. Also the room was not completely furnished. Only 2 crappy lamps, no wall mirror. Bath vanity was worn, water pressure in the sink was lacking.

There was only 1 room ready when i checked in and i am glad i took that one (under protest)

Bed was hard., pillows were not crisp amd fresh smelling. pillows smelled of body odor. balcony door didnt lock. balcony overlooked parking lots. breakfast was fine. parking is an additional cost, no exceptions.

Cleaner beds and linens for one. Address the safety of rooms

$25 rip off parking fee after paying $263 for a room. I traveled 1300 miles and stayed at Holiday Inns 3 nights and never had to pay a parking fee. just lost a customer.

Was one of the most expensive with the least expectations met!

It was clean enough, checked in and out quickly

To start wasn’t a pleasant greeting when we got there, he checked us in and didn’t tell us anything or ask questions other than for card for incidentals. We asked where to park, which a sign on the desk says $10 for parking, I ask do you put the $10 on our card? yes! Where do we park wherever you want… nothing more! Also we paid for a beachfront hotel, apparently all you have to do is see the hotel from the beach to be a beachfront hotel! It would have been a bit of a walk to get to the beach! Paid extra for a balcony room, just to look in Walmart parking lot. Busy traffic all night! Room was very small and stuffy! Was clean! Over all we were not happy that none of these things were stated before we booked! Or even informed of policy once we got there!!! Poor customer service!

Nice room, good breakfast, fast check-in, pleasant staff.

Furniture is getting a bit worn and shabby. Wal-Mart parking lot across the street can be noisy at times - car alarms.
