Perfect waterfront location with direct beach access.

My mom and I came for my cousins wedding at the marina 3 minutes away ! It was the perfect location , located on a beaut

Absolutely loved the location and the amenities! From the Starbucks to the amazing restaurant, to valet ! Everything and everyone was exceptional!

Due to the humidity I think that caused a slight smell in the room that dissipated with opening the balcony door of the room

Great place for staying at Virginia Beach with room for improvement.

Right at the beach with most rooms with at least part ocean view.

The front desk forgot our breakfast vouchers and breakfast was not so great. Some food has not been replenished although we had breakfast right in between business hours. Also, one staff person told us that breakfast - which was included in our room rate - would not start before 11 am. We asked him like three times that this is very unusual and if that was true. Turned out it started at 7 am and ended at 11 am. That was very unprofessional.

Front desk needs to improve their attitude. Rooms need to be cleaned better.

Nice view from room. Close to my daughter. It was well appointed. My room was large and the bed was comfortable.

The staff at the desk when I checked in didn't even say hello or welcome to the hotel. He just said, "Name?" asking for my last name with no smile. That was my first impression of the hotel. I also was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Hairs were on the sink, different spots clearly hadn't been dusted in ages, the floor near the sink was dirty. The coffee pot had water in it and smelled. Based on the price I paid, I doubt I would stay here again.

The aesthetic of the rooms. The beds extremely comfortable.

I got the breakfast included but there was nothing special about it. It's basically like the breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express. They add on these coupons that you can use there for $10 a day per room but mostly everything was over $10. You can't use 2 at a time because they have dates on them. I ended up getting something I didn't want because I was charged for it regardless if I used them or not.. I stayed for 2 nights and paid almost $500. The self parking is $24 a night. I felt it was a rip off. Honestly I really didn't like anything about this hotel other than the balcony that I could see the beach from.

Beware! Hidden costs will not make this a value.

Bed was super comfy and the room was very nice. Location was perfect, and the staff was good.

I was not aware of the $24 parking fee until I checked in, as well as the $10 extra resort fee. These were not on the website. So I would not have chosen this place with that information.

Check-in went well. The property was very clean. The bartenders were great.

For as much money as we paid for a bay view suite it was absurd that we were charged an extra $24 to park our car. Since we had no choice but to use the facility parking lot (unless we parked at the Food Lion Shopping Center across the street and lugged our luggage over) we had no other choice. Also for as much money as we paid, the fact that our room was not cleaned daily was pretty lame along with the fact that no one resupplied our coffee and water. And..we had no bar of soap at the bathroom sink so if we wanted to wash our hands we had to step into the bathtub and get the soap there. Along with that there was no bath-mat so we had to put a towel down on the floor when we stepped out of the shower. Also noticed that the glass on the doors on the second floor going out to the parking lot was filthy, which just confirms the attention to detail was not apparent at this Marriott location.

The booking, room description, and fees were all misrepresented! Not to mention Greg left a bad imp

Didn’t like Greg at the front desk!!! He was VERY rude! He even raised his voice at me Before I had even asked my question! I also didn’t like the fact that we were given “free $20 off tickets”…which we didn’t use BUT were still charged for them at checkout ! What a colossal ripoff! The “partial bay view room” was in effect a total view of the second floor parking lot!

Not great, but staff friendly.

It was clean and the rooms were very nice. The staff was helpful.

There was no warm water, which when I let them know at checkout they said “Oh yes we don’t have hot water the past few days and are working on it.” This was the first I heard of it, and I think this should’ve been told to me when I checked in, or an offer for a discount, or offer to cancel without cancellation fee. I was here for a wedding and the bride and all guests couldn’t take a comfortable shower. This room was over priced for not having hot water?! 400$ for a Saturday night and 200 for a Sunday not even during peak vacation times. I also paid extra for a view of the ocean and extra for a balcony I could not get out to, because the door was jammed. If I could get my money back that would be great.

Location, the cafe Starbucks. The workout room and beach access were amazing

Water heater was out for a few showers. But maintenance was already working on issue. Covers on bed were very thin although I’m sure we could have asked for more blankets.

We had a time thanks to an amazing team and the best hotel.

Omg! The service from concierge to front desk to cleaning staff was amazing. The hotel exceeded our expectations and made our brides weekend so special. They were able to extend our check out with no problems. The concierge made a awesome suggestion for dinner and drinks. Amazing location…Beach…Pool view…Sitting Areas made for perfect photo opportunities.

Not worth my money, never going back

Staff when we left were terrible. Bathroom was dirty with stained towels, bathroom doors were dirty and didn’t even close all the way. Water didn’t get warm completely.. not worth $400 a night, will never stay again

Very good

design, aesthetics, outdoor dining with sunset views, beach access, quieter location, huge rooms w great layout and space big enough for family with older kids to all be in one room.

the pool was over crowded (too small), the elevators were soooo slow, unsynchronized and caused crowds to back up in narrow through ways, the Starbucks didn’t serve more than half the things on their menu - they told us to go to the other restaurant (?)

Disappointed in public areas for the price of stay

Beautiful rooms but public areas like pool and outside dining or lounging on beach VERY crowded and expensive to reserve chairs/seating when the price was already high

Elevators always very long wait, woke up by car alarm at 6 am on Sun. Staff just not friendly or welcoming, breakfast Buffett below average and not worth $22/ person. Super small trash cans in rooms so were overflowing. Gift shop was really a disappointment for a classy place. For the amount paying wanted more of a high end resort feeling, not the vibe there at all.
