Location and how quick it was to get checked in.
When returning from a wedding we asked the counter girl for a complimentary water. She gave them to us but said just this one time....not customer friendly. The thermostat in the room did not let us adjust for comfort.

Enjoyed the exercise room/pool. Quiet and close to downtown and Walmart.
Dirty wash cloth was left on the bathroom sink. Shower head lacked decent water pressure for showers. Daytime desk clerk lacked personality, while the nighttime one very good and friendly. The waffle machine broke on us and pour batter all over non-stop. Did not like having to jump through hoops on my phone when first scheduling reservation. One thing that really kind of upset me was getting an email saying we had to wear a mask (after we paid for the room) going back to the pandemic days. Then when we got to the hotel no one was wearing them.
