Residence Inn by Marriott Lakeland

The breakfast was good and the breakfast bar was clean and set up well. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful to guests and the best I have had anywhere I have stayed. The best part was one of the housekeeping staff that worked on the day shift was one of the nicest, caring, and compassionate people I have met. I was in town to take my husband to a doctor’s appointment in Tampa and see family. My husband is a cancer patient and also had a bad chemical burn on his leg and I left to run an errand. This wonderful lady which I can’t remember her name but it started with an “M” is a supervisor in housekeeping brought towels and coffee to our room while I was gone and my husband answered the door. He wasn’t feeling well when she came to bring the items and was about to fall and she helped him and was going to call help for him but he said he would be ok. She stayed to make sure he was ok. The next morning I seen her and she asked about how he was and I was telling her his situation and she had told me she just lost her father the week before. I thanked her for being there and not leaving him when it wasn’t her job. I am in the medical field and also a professor at Keiser University and she is an example of an exemplar employee. I would like to thank everyone their kindness during our stay and we will be staying every time we are in town.
