Absolutely some of the best hotel staff I have ever dealt with. From the housekeepers to the men and women at the front desk to security, all phenomenal. Pool was a perfect temp and clean, and the hot tub was hot and clean. Second hotel room was very clean . (No cockroaches like other hotels in Durham) first room had some mold around the light switch in the bathroom. But other than that I am very pleased. And again I cannot say enough good things about the hotel staff. 💯 amazing staff

The breakfast was amazing and the BREAKFAST staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was clean and the food was delicious. The location of the hotel is 100 percent perfect. It's close to the highway but the tall beautiful trees block the noise. So the hotel is VERY quite. It's also located less than a mile from the DUKE Eye Center which is why we're there. This is beautiful hotel. The beds are comfortable. The pillows are so comfortable that I looked at the table and ordered me some.
I do wish that the bar across from the restaurant was open. It ha such a great ambiance and sitting area but the bar wasn't open during either stay. Also the front desk staff for the most part have been great. The one disappointing thing is at 2:30 pm, on check in day we asked if we could go ahead and check in. She said yes for a fee. So I said I'll wait 30 minutes. Being in the hotel business myself I assumed her shift was ending at 3 and didn't have time to finish her texting and check me on too. When I returned at 3 a very nice person checked us in.

I liked the cleanliness and comfort of the room I liked the fact that there's an indoor pool and hot tub.
However there were no towels in the pool or hot tub area also my husband and I had to clean particles out of the pool and hot tub before we could get on so the staff needs to pay more attention to the cleaning and the linen stock.
