Excellent friendly staff. Good hot breakfast and other options for gluten free. Rooms very clean and spacious. Was beautiful garden fruit trees around the rooms making this place feel very California like. Loved our stay.
Pool and hot tub were closed due to the fine dust problem from construction nearby. Not the hotels fault.

The property is located just off HWY 99, across the street from Forestiere Gardens and close to the usual selection of fast food joints, which are within easy walking distance. The layout is unique with multiple buildings with 2 to 4 rooms per unit. I didn't hear any noise from my neighbors. The freeway noise was surprisingly low in the room/s. There are plenty of fruit trees on the property. I saw lemon, lime, grapefruit, pomegranate, and persimmon trees, all with fruit in various stages of growth. If you happen to be there when something is ripe, you could probably score some good fruit. The staff were accommodating.
The bad. Lack of maintenance seemed to be the theme at the Garden Inn. The pool was closed for maintenance even though it was full and the water looked clean. The air conditioning in my rooms didn't work. I switched rooms after my first night because the ceiling fan made horrible sounds while running. The carpet had a lot of stains in it. The curtains were janky window blinds were broken. The room itself was generally dingy. My second room was cleaner, but the AC also was not functioning, and the ceiling fan was scary because it was wobbling around like a drunken belly dancer, and it too made a lot of noise. The light switches were sketchy. There were stray cats in the parking area. And I am not talking about the 80s rockabilly band! I could go on, but I think you get the point.
