No frills hotel. Clean place to stay.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to the bay. restaurants, and shops.

Won’t be back very disappointed

The wrong room no balcony I book a balcony room! Shower no water pressure I was not able to wash my hair! They key to the room one didn’t work then went to car to get something then both keys would not open the door to the room went downstairs to have the guy reactivate both keys! What a mess!!!!!

walking distance to shore

I paid extra for a view of Morro rock, but it was blocked by a tree and partially by a building. I was very disappointed as that view is why I paid for this room. the view wasn’t what is on their profile

Typical motel with spacious rooms. Clean bedroom. comfy beds.

Maybe because it’s winter, but the water in the shower was weird. It smelled like mold and the water itself was slimy. You are trying to wash yourself but it feels like your body and hair is still slimy.

A great place to unwind

Location, accessibility, weather was a little overcast on this trip but, pleasant all the sane plenty of things to see and do, highly recommend Morro bay California

Great location, quiet area, could be better for the price

Great location. Comfy beds

Tv didn't work first night and had to have the manager fix it. Second night hot water wouldnt work and the faucet seemed to broken but we worked around it after management came and played with it for 10min himself. Its broke but he got it functioning. People above us stomped around through the night and walls so thin we heard the baby cry on and off all night.

The king/balcony/ocean view was different in picture. Windows too dirty to see out. More of a car wash view than ocean view. Weird setup. The big sliding glass door view to balcony was in a tiny room next to bedroom so can’t see and enjoy from the main room. The pictures didn’t show it like that. Tiny TV. Bring your own coffee. Wanted to enjoy coffee on balcony. Made a full cup but tasted like I’d made it with used coffee grounds. Tried making again using just a half cup of water, still tasted like watered down used coffee grounds. I left early, wasn’t enjoying stay at all.

Location & size of the room were excellent.

Ad said 2 queen sized beds they were actually 2 full sized beds. Beds and pillows were very firm and not very comfortable.

Good budget option with super friendly staff.

This hotel was much better than we expected. The desk clerk was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our room was very clean and had a nice shower. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner/heater worked perfectly. The hotel is one block from many restaurants and all the main attractions of the town. Easily walkable to most things. Recommend this hotel for a comfortable and affordable stay.

a option for a stopover on Highway 1

Morro Bay is a nice little village on the Highway 1. Fireside Inn is a simple motel and fits perfect for a short stopover. Rooms are big and the beds are good.

The rooms are a bit pricey for what you get.
