Sonesta ES Suites Chicago Waukegan Gurnee

It was clean not too far from everything but it’s 1hr from downtown depending on the traffic hr

No one cleans the rooms until check out

Close to Great Lakes Naval base and shopping. Felt safe in the location.

I had not booked a mobility accessible room but my room type was changed without my consent. I also expected a full stove and fireplace as described in the room selection I had picked but did not receive.

I ended up using this hotel for my son's naval graduation. At first, we checked in without much expectation, but we ended up using it for a total of five days. Every day I could feel the advantages of this hotel. The old-fashioned one seemed old, but I could feel that it was kept clean so that guests could stay comfortably. All the markets and public transportation were conveniently located nearby. In particular, the breakfast at this hotel was excellent. And all the staff working there are friendly. If I were to go here, I would definitely choose this hotel again. 👍👍👍

The room I reserved is a suite with a kitchen. I couldn't use the mat on the sofa bed because it was too uncomfortable, and... It was a shame that there weren't more kitchen utensils.

Location.

Housekeeping did not show up once. Toilet paper in bathroom wasn’t new.. barely had any left. Trash was never taken out.
