I'd go back, and I probably will, next year.

One of the reasons that the motel is so nice is that the people and town of Redondo Beach and the beach cities are so nice and accommodating. That makes for a pleasant, overall trip. There is a Starbucks and Chick Fillet within easy walking distance (and probably other convenient eateries, etc.) The beach cities are crowded with traffic. It might not be a bad idea to learn the transit system.

What I didn't like was that there was not adequate parking for all the guests. But there is plenty of parking on Artesia Boulevard and on the side streets. Also, you can park off the street at the library on Green Lane all night long but you have to moved your car by 7:30 a.m. (I checked that out with the staff at the North Branch of the Redondo Beach Library.)

Hotel not so good, visit with son great!

It was Close to where our son lives.

The dirty bedspread. Only 10 parking spots for the whole motel. If you didn’t get one you were on your own to find someplace to park on the street. There were no breakfast items except coffee.

good location, friendly staff

Staff were great, check-in was quick and smooth. The Family Suite was quite large and comfortable. Good kitchen facilities and the kitchen is located between the living room and the bedroom, providing separation and space for multiple people, with televisions in both rooms. Grocery outlet 1 block away.

Good price for a good place

Location: It’s hard to beat Redondo Beach. Everything was clean and functioning. Lots of privacy inside. Very friendly administration and service crew. Priced just right. Handicapped parking helped us because of my wife's needs.

A bit of street noise during the day only. No elevator.

Great Value, Good Location

Check in was easy and the woman in the office was friendly and helpful. The hotel has been they're a while, but it was comfortable and very clean - easy well cared for. The room included a small kitchen, which we didn't use as we were only there one night, but it was nice to know. Overall it was a great value, and if we need to stay in the area again, we'll definitely stay there.

The bed was a little too hard for me, but I have some particular back issues, and my husband slept just fine.

It was very clean, lots of free parking, the people were very friendly and were very accommodating and helpful.

Perfect little motel near the shore!

We loved our 2 nights at the Seaside Motel. We were warmly welcomed by the motel’s longtime, respectful owner who guided us to all the important local addresses. The motel was in a good neighborhood with everything close by including groceries, restaurants and Hermosa beach where we swam and even saw dolphins and seals! Finally, at the present time the motel is by far the best bang for your buck in the LA area.

Affordable and clean room! Highly recommended!

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions. I had to do laundry one day and I used the laundry room from the motel. Everything was clean and working.

There is no breakfast service but Starbucks is across the street. A simple continental breakfast would be great.

Very good value, great service and a handy location.

We were very pleased to be upgraded to a suite, which had a spacious bedroom, TVs in both bedroom and living room and ample sitting and storage space. Covered parking was available. The manager and his staff were very kind and accommodating.

Small matters, really, but a towel/bathrobe hook or two in the bathroom, and a coffee maker would have been a plus. The manager did provide ready made coffee in the office.

Small town charm tucked away in the big city.

This is a vintage motel which has been properly maintained and updated. Also, it's clean, clean, clean! Their recommended places to eat proved to be great dining experiences, for example: The Ocean Diner, a vintage restaurant with great food, many meal options, and generous portions, not to mention excellent and friendly servers! We plan to visit this area again soon and this will be our first choice!

Great stay with friendly staff

This property was very clean with the friendliest staff ever. The owner sat outside with us and chatted for about 20 minutes. He was so friendly. I felt safe in the area as well. Definitely would stay here again!

Great for a quick, weekend trip.

Friendly, family owned business. Location, free parking. Bathroom is in a bedroom, so if you have company over, you have to go through the bedroom, but really it's a hotel, thinking it was an apartment comples at somepoint. OVerall, was a super good experience.

Parking is a small lot, so if you have a large SUV, it's limited. However, there is street parking available and appers to be a safe neighborhood. Kitchen items not fully clean.

It was just what we needed/wanted for our visit with our grandkids.

Location. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Plenty of outlets.

A light in the closet area [Room 32]. Coffeemaker in the room. Heater in the bathroom.

This motel is the finest example of how motels should run

The property and room was clean , clutter free , and well maintained. The manager was very helpful and welcoming thru out my stay. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in the area and would also highly recommend it to others.parking is limited but there is more street parking and the manager explained to me there is no problem with that issue.
