Overall a good stay near where we wanted to visit

I liked the location close to the historic downtown williamsburg.

Convenient, clean, afternoon staff friendly, evening staff rude.

Room was close to elevator which screamed each time door opened. A little WD40 would have fixed. Maintenance said they needed an order

MARRIOTT FEELS LIKE HOME FOR ARIEL.

SAFETY and SECURITY and EVERYTHING ELSE. (except the lack of a smoker’s timeout spot.) otherwise, 5 star in my book. THANK YOU, MARRIOTT. i love y’all!

That my TV greeted me and when I got back to my room it said time to relax and that's what I did the breakfast was wonderful and the staff

Good sized rooms. Nice area, right on the main strip near Colonial Williamsburg. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Found a used condom wrapper on the couch. Water leaked from the light in the bathroom when the upstairs guests showered. Water shot out of the shower mixing valve when the water was running. One elevator was down so we had to wait in line to use the only working one.

Good 1 night stay before Busch Gardens

The staff was friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. There were lots of cups provided in the room. Chilis located right next door was convenient.

We were in 217, which is right next to the elevator. You could hear it going up and down all night long. The pool area was a little dirty and there were no towels in the pool. There were no additional blankets or pillows for the trundle bed.

Clean the carpets and the bath tubs it was weird stains which prevented us from using the facilities.

Okay, but not the most comfortable.

The front desk staff was friendly.

The bed was very uncomfortable...extremely firm. One elevator was broken and the bathroom exhaust did not work. We were not supplied with bedding for the trundle bed. The breakfast was out of many items by 8:30 AM, including coffee and gluten free options.

Great value and location.

Breakfast was great, although the staff began putting it away prior to the end time.

Ran out of washcloths and we had to use hand towels.

It was great.

For the size of our group the room and beds were perfect and we were glad to have some space to kick back. The breakfast was great with a huge selection! We had enough to keep us from having to get lunch!

When we checked in we had to wait a little till the person at the desk saw us. Then we needed more blankets and towels and we had to go to the front desk for them because there was not enough of staff.

Everything was adequate. A bit pricey for what it actually is.

The room was not that clean. There were a lot of dead bugs near the window.

`Good stay will stay there again

Bed was very good, as was breakfast, room needed to updated

Room needs to be updated with better lighting in bathroom and in room only one good chair in the as sleeper sofa was not good to sit on,

The breakfast was just ok. Typically hotel food. But the location was convenient and the pool and room were nice

Room was not cleaned to my standards. Hair was the shower. Food stain on future. Dust various places throughout the room. Trash in pull out couch.

Clean and comfortable facilities and rooms that we’ve been unable to find at other hotels in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable. Unlike other hotels in the area we’ve stayed at, SHS seems to be properly maintaining and cleaning.

The breakfast offerings were not up to par with a hotel in this price range. Sadly, they like other cheaper hotels, seem to be artificially lengthening the need for cheap subpar breakfast items made necessary by COVID-19.
