The room fit our needs. We were house hunting and wanted to be by Venice beach and some shopping (TJ Maxx!) while saving as much as possible toward our upcoming move. We had our Siberian Husky with us, and that’s why I always choose Motel 6, because of the straight forward pet policy. They only ask for a deposit and I clean up after myself and my dig and it’s always returned. We had a cozy little stay in a small room and the AC was super cold for my dog (Florida). This location is right near Venice beach, so close you can grab a quick uber if the parking is full. We were close to highway and North Port, Englewood. Staff was very friendly and on top of things.
This is not due to the staff but it should be noted that this area is one where you will find that there are weekly residents living in this Motel. I have no issue with that, but if you prefer an experience where people are not smoking and drinking in the one picnic table and living there, then you might not choose this location. Although the staff was very on top of how residents use the facilities and it was very quite at night.

Was there a breakfast? I saw coffee but that isn't breakfast
There were hairs on multiple towels. Long black hairs hanging from "linen" and all over shower and sink. There was also stains on the duvet. When talking to the lady at the front desk it was like it was typical and nothing out of the ordinary.
