Staff was welcoming and friendly, room was clean.
I was not informed ahead of the MAJOR construction! The fitness room was ALSO u der co struction which is planned to use. There should have been a call or email sent out informing me of the major renovation and that it would include the fitness room. When I pulled into the driveway I had to call to verify the hotel was even open because the parking lot was empty and yellow caution ribbon all over front entry.

Across from Old South restaurant and near some good walking paths.
Front desk manager seemed sick but was working anyway-vector for illness. New room temperature controls are impossible to figure out. In-room instructions are essential. The room was renovated but incompletely. No molding s installed between floor and wall in bathroom

I mean, it was friendly, when my sister a room over had a problem they were also quick to fix it. It was not the worst.
The pool had chips coming off of the bottom, the coffee machine in my room also was hideously disgusting. The rooms had a smell that was a tiny bit off.
