The cleanliness and the fact that the hotel was new and well cared for. We traveled with elderly pets and they accommodated our requests (ie. room near stairs, end of hall, and/or on the first floor.
The $5.00 self parking fee was a surprise and unexpected. We didn't find any glasses in our room for drinking, brushing teeth, etc. We had difficulty finding the hotel since it is not directly off the interstate and we are familiar with the city having lived there in the past. When we called to help with directions the front desk was unable to really help tell us how to get there - it was frustrating and took us about an hour to find it, but we did and had a relaxing night sleep.

Driving there can be challenging and there is nothing at all around. Better have dinner before going there.

good choices at breakfast
room was clean and comfortable. Would have liked an office chair for time at desk instead of the puff ottoman. I HIGHLY recommend us built chairs by a company in CA - 9to5 Seating.
AC unit was a little loud.

Clean rooms, great shower pressure, comfy feather pillows, quiet & relaxing
We had showed up later than expected so it was definitely after hours but Front desk employee seemed a little lost, my husband & I just wanted to lay down and get some rest, got a key to our room, key didn’t work, was given another key toanother room, that one worked. Everybody notices different things about rooms…there was no Bible…every single room i have ever stayed at has always had a Bible, just something I noticed. There was no coffee maker, no alarm clock & the housekeeper opened the door while we were in there, no knocking or anything. They didn’t even know what room to clean lol that was just lost.
