Avoid at all costs!!!!!!

We can honestly say only the comfortable bed !

On check in I questioned that our room was pre paid and the woman threw our room key at me !!!! She then told us it was no smoking throughout ( not a problem has we don’t smoke) the whole hotel stunk of cigarettes and the bedsheets had cigarette holes in ! The sockets were hanging off the walls and paper . The pool was unbelievably filthy !! Outside the property there was a couple of crackheads on a stairwell having sex , and there was a small guy going around on a skateboard selling drugs . Worst place we ever stayed in USA !!!!

It’s a place to lay the head.

The location was easy to find, the main lobby had a nice layout and you could tell it was being remodeled.

It was unfortunately not very clean. Our room had an odd smell to it. Several hairs and stains were in our bedding, the bathroom was unfortunate and the towels were very cheap. There was a small coffee machine in the lobby that I wasn’t comfortable drinking from.

Motel/ Hotel in Hagerstown, Maryland.. Disappointed. Not for family stay!

When I traveled from Lancaster Pennsylvania with my family to stay at Plaza Inn and suites, that I Prebooked online, called before traveling and asked if booking for 2 adults with 3 small children was issue or not. Was told would be alright. Get to check in at 3:30PM, told I can’t stay at Plaza Inn and suites because I have 5 persons staying in 1 room? Told I would have to pay $20 extra for my 13 year old child. They booked my family’s stay for 2 nights at this point, for Garden Plaza Inn and suites next door.

Well to finish what I liked answer but truly didn’t like, The Garden Plaza was eye opening from the start. From point of check in, approached asked if they could use my phone as paying for room. Simple “NO”. Outside people walking around parking lot and vehicles, early morning, night, day. People in and out of rooms all day and night. Girls, maybe guys stand at top of parking lot at entrance half dressed, pretty sure “working”.. Then to mention, room was beyond disgusting. Floor not sure if even cleaned, mold/ wet musky smell from/ in room, beds were horrible, last night key card reader on door stopped working and needed battery change. 8:45PM this occurred. 9:50PM door battery was replaced, if we didn’t have 13 year old in room while we walked out to smoke cigarettes. We would have been locked out of room.., also while outside smoking cigarettes, approached by walking person, one that asked if could use phone.. Do you guys party? Again, NO. My fiancé shocked, confused, looked up what this could mean, we don’t engage or do “hard drugs” as Google would say. Honest, I thought drinking,. Don’t think about this place if have little kids or if you care about your belongings, safety, health. Beware of this place, overpriced. Not worth it unless you like what you read. “BEWARE”, or “BESAFE”. GOD BLESS!

There were holes in the walls and you could hear the mice in them , tv's didn't work and when I set up a checkout time they barged in an hour and half early telling me that they were not honoring their agreement and that I needed to leave out now

The room I was given wasn’t the room that I booked, however I checked in late and didn’t feel like changing rooms. The deadbolt latch was missing, so the door deadbolt was the only additional room security. I also found a lighter under the sheets, so it leads me to believe the room wasn’t cleaned that well.

Uncomfortable

Booking.com says this room allows smoking. Since it was freezing outside I booked this room to avoid having to smoke in my car. The lady who checked me in was very friendly despite my disappointment.

I was disappointed to learn that this was a non-smoking room. The hotel smelled like mildew and the room was freezing cold. There were less than comfy blankets on the bed.

This is a 0 star hotel

One older gal was nice at the desk. Location is close to my job.

Lots of people with issues. Fights inside and outside all hours. You can hear what the rooms next to you are "doing" TV but no cable. Same trash that was in the pool when I got here is still there 2 weeks later. Half the hotel is shut down along with most of the services. DO NOT BRING A FAMILY HERE! The whole place seems to be in a state of disrepair. All pictures are from my room

Not a great place to stay.

The room was for the most part clean.

Pool was advertised as heated. It was very cold, our kids tried it and got right back out. Advertised as having breakfast but there was none. Got charged $20 extra because my daughter was 12. (When I booked somehow it was entered as 7) Never been to a hotel that charged a deposit. Guest across hall had dog that was incessantly barking. Bathtub drain was very slow. By the time you got out of the shower, you were standing in several inches of water.

It was about 5-6 miles off the interstate but we got see Hagerstown.

At least front people was quick by giving key for room.

It says smoke free. But as soon as you enter the room smells smoke. I arrived late night driving with my son was so tired to argue. I don’t won’t even take shower there. One of the towel has stain, poor quality of towels and bed sheets. At first I thought I may mistaken about smoke smell it just smells weird at the room. I thought May be air flow need more. But I soon as I put my head to the pillow i smells smoke. I was so tired driving so long I don’t want to even argue about it so I try to sleep. Of course in the morning I woke up restless.

Things I liked: the 'NO Carpets' (it's easier to keep clean & wish all hotels did that); Hotel is quiet & secured, well lit & all entries /w Key Only Access. The bed was very comfortable.

I don't know why I tried to flush the toilet as soon as I got there. (M/b it was the tone used to tell me that I needed to Ck Room immediately. If not, get stuck /w it!) Toilet did not flush! TG, I was able still to complain! They fixed immediately. There was a "wireing/ or a plumbing hole on my Wall so plugged up cause scared of rodents. Also, someone had torn the Telephone wire! That got fixed immediately, too. No microwave in Rm but found one in Hotel. No ice /nor machines near my room.

The staff seemed clueless on how to do there job. I booked a double smoking room. The first room we were given was a king not a double. We tried to call the front desk to get it fixed and the person at the front desk just hung up on us. So my husband went to the desk and finally was able to get us another room that was a double. It was late when we got there and we were exhausted so we didn't even turn on the lights. We just went to bed. In the morning when we woke up we realized just how bad this place really was. We found drugs laying next to the bed. Dead bugs next to the mini fridge and in the bathtub. Every towel had yellow stains on them. There was something black all over the tub and sink. The place was disgusting. We got out of there as fast as possible. We will never go back.

The people that checked us in was very rude, ignorant try to charge us more after we go out there. No information was on Booking.com orders site.
