I actually book this hotel before finding out that highway 550 was closed and Silverton to Montrose was actually more like 4 and 1/2 hours instead of one. Between booking.com and the person at the front desk I was able to get my mistake fixed and that means a lot!

Some monkey reviews from past customers, but the room was freshly painted, clean and easily washable bedspread. We expected worse from the ratings so we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was a joke so we ate elsewhere.
Kids cereal and milk isn't really a breakfast. A liner in the ice bucket. Clean up the grounds and repair the broken bricks. People have been complaining for three months.

We decided to go last minute and booked the day of, we paid $70 for the night, which is why we continued with the extra day. Parking was convenient no stairs into the room, the room was spacious, bathroom clean.
there were what looked like burn marks or stains on the sheets & lamp shades which made it feel a bit not as nice. I did not like the fact that they used polystyrene cups, the breakfast was very poor but we were not intending staying for breakfast.
