It was in or around the state park so you were close to lots of stuff to do there. The park was pretty.
We stayed at the Overlook Lodge. There is no check in desk there, so you have to go around to the Inn to check in. It was crowded and hard to find parking for that. The staff at the desk at the Inn and at the little coffee place there were not friendly or helpful at all.
When we got back to the Lodge, we were on the second floor and there was no elevator…..we had 4 suitcases and 3 bags to haul upstairs. The room was nice but the bed was not comfortable.
