Hampton Inn Greenville/Travelers Rest

It was easy, comfortable and priced right! Its got a great location close to food, shopping and walking! Just need to venture out to Main Street!

Would have like more movie channels on the LIVE station, a keurig in the room would have also been nice.

Breakfast selection was great. Rooms where clean. Locations was good for needs.

I came to stay here because my father's death. My son would soon join us after midnight. They had originally given me the wrong room. After I brought that to their attention, they immediately fixed it and gave us the room we paid for. The staff, (except for the breakfast lady, she was very rude to me) was exceptional.

The breakfast lady. If I was her manager and heard the way she spoke to me and seen the mean look, she gave me, I would have terminated her on the spot. I had a very long night. As one could imagine as I prepared to Officiate my own father's funeral. I was tired and just barely woke up. I reached in and grabbed a biscuit without using the tongues. Without touching any food but that one. Now, I understand food prep and proper procedure. Just at that time, I just didn't think about it. I ended up not eating and just left.

This Hampton Inn location was in close proximity to Table Rock which was my destination for hiking.

This Hampton Inn location is in serious need of a facelift. The hotel looks worn down from years of use and they really should put some money back into the aesthetics. The cleanliness could have been better, but it was marginally acceptable. Other than at checkin, the staff were no so friendly. They also charged some sort of Marketing Fee to the reservation, so it was roughly $5 more than I signed up for on Booking.com. Not thrilled about it but was ready to get out of there. Breakfast was ok, but no protein (bacon, sausage) served with the eggs…
