bed was comfortable; shower had great pressure (but got cold intermittently); quiet (couldn't hear neighbors); super cold fridge, yay!
neighborhood: felt kinda shady, unsafe, definitely run-down
check-in/front desk: got there at 2:35 after a 7-hour drive & were told we couldn't check in until 3; desk clerk didn't even check to see if a room was ready, she just kept doing her coffee-refill task; manager came out & let us check in after we asked him instead
check-in/front desk: we always specifically ask for a room as far away from the elevators as possible & she assured us it was; we got off the elevator & our room was directly across from the elevator, couldn't get any closer!
room: the whole hotel needs refurbishing; we're Hilton rewards members, have traveled forever, & this was the smallest & most outdated suite of them all; broken down ironing board (don't usually use it but we had an event to dress for), although they brought us a brand new one when we asked (but like, is that how you replace broken things? once someone brings it to your attention?), shower ran ice cold intermittently, living area window was weirdly frosted over or scraped up so no visibility
housekeeping: we had to call for towels--she took the used ones but didn't replace
breakfast: went about an hour after start time & there were no napkins (like NONE, even in the back, the attendant said), no plates; SO MANY food item nit-picks, but suffice it to say we went elsewhere the next 2 mornings. worst hotel breakfast we've ever experienced, & THIS IS HILTON, what the heck?

close to the interstate
housekeeping needs improvement. elevator had a sticky spill that stayed for over a day, and a cigarette butt. pool is leaking so the ground and the parking lot has standing water. phone in room didn’t work at all. dishwasher in room full of dirty (?) dishes upon check in. multiple areas in the common halls where the ceiling panels had been removed and not replaced showing exposed pipes and wiring. food was not good at breakfast (but yes, it was included).
