Convenient location, breakfast was provided but we did not indulge in the meal and there was complimentary lemonade as well. The pool was clean and comfortable, there’s also ample parking along with the option to utilize the bar.
There was no option to check in early. I attempted to reach out prior to traveling and could not connect with anyone until early morning the day of travel. I made an attempt to follow up with a message and never received a reply regarding accommodations. The staff was pleasant for the most part but I did run into one staff member who was not as friendly when requesting additional blankets/comforters. The comforter upon arriving was dirty and not available for replacement upon request. I asked if the comforter would be brought to me upon them being “washed” and was told “No, because they were the only staff there on duty and I would just need to come back down and ask”. We spent two days asking for one and ended up with a light blanket during our stay which made the room uncomfortable with the temperatures. The lighting in the room was horrible and the room is TINY! Some of the fixtures could use some updates and the lights could use some new bulbs. There is a deposit requirement that is not listed on the booking site. Although I have no problem paying the deposit, I would have appreciated having the information in advance. The beds were horrible and uncomfortable while access to the property is questionable as well. There was no final bill provided but I received an additional $10 charge without any explanation. We left the room clean and stripped the linen placing it by the door to ensure the sheets were changed THIS time. Other than that, I do not see a reason for the additional charge as everything was left intact and all trash was removed. It may not seem like a lot but we still worked for our money. I would also recommend being aware of the many raccoons roaming around the property for safety reasons. Finally, room we were placed in was on the higher level.
