The structure of the hotel was good and the architectural indoor decor was great.
The inconvenience was extremely unbearable, first of it was so confusing from the car park, their is no proper direction on how to get into the hotel. they have confusing signs on how to get to the hotel from the car park, they had misleading doors with sign saying entrance to embassy suites, when you get through that door, it's actually locked, it's only for guest who are already checked in, so why not have a proper sign letting new guest know so they don't have to waste their time, roaming round the empty building looking for entrance to the hotel. it was so frustrating coming from a long drive with a toddler, stroller and 2 extra kids, driving from far, & not finding the entrance,it was not only me, other guest were also lost.
finally, it's a busy downtown, and siren's from fire fighters and police going off 4 times in one night was crazy, & it kept my baby waking up severally, i had a horrible night the first night and my other two children could barely sleep. the next morning i was ready to check out, so i went down to the front desk and told her my ordeal, she offered to move me to another quieter room. by the way they sent me email offering to move me to a better quiet room for extra fees. i just thought it was ridiculous to ask me to pay more money just to get a quiet room knowing i was coming with a baby, They could have done that from the onset without trying to get me to pay more money, because at the end that's what they did.
if you're not happy to pay $25 per day for parking, then this embassy suite is not for you. i was used to having the hotel have their own parking so it was unpleasant for me to pay $50 extra for 2 nights for parking.
Also they also tried to get me to pay more money for better internet. that also sucked.
