Been here several times though not in last five years. They seem to be upgrading rooms and the grounds are beautiful.
Can walk to town in 15 minutes (note there are 250 steps down on wooden steps with some of the route a dirt trail) without difficulty for fit walkers.

It is a great spot for a quick break. It’s close to shops and restaurants. The room is spacious and well equipped.
You could hear people in the room next to ours.

The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was good
No where on any information that I could find stated anything indicating that the rooms were not air conditioned. I would of like to known that before I booked. It's a very old facility dating back to the early 1900's....the facility is old, but based on how many people were there, it didn't seem to have an affect on how many customers were there.....lots of history....rooms were dated and in need of refreshing, but that may not mean that much to eveyone
