Everything was excellent. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and especially liked the unique location by the lake.
We were excited to stay by the lake where the small floatplanes take off and land, and it was actually very interesting to watch. However, we didn’t realize that planes would be taking off and landing every few minutes and that they could be quite loud. This is not really the hotel’s fault, but if you are looking for a very quiet place to stay, being next to the floatplane lake may not be the best choice.

The hotel is nicely decorated and it is in a good location.
Most rooms are NOT lake view. So if you are choosing this hotel to see the floatplanes on Lake Hood, you will be disappointed.
