One thing stood out for me was the quality of the breakfast. In other hotels the food is usually some powdered egg-like substance, weird tasting sausage patties and that's it. This place, everything seemed fresh and tasty, I'm not going to claim that it is high end restaurant quality, but it definitely showed that the staff cares about what they present to guests. The room was clean, the ac worked exactly as required, it was quiet despite being a stone throw away from the highway, absolutely would stay here again.

The staff at reception was not welcoming at all. We arrived around 10.30 pm at night and he ignored us for around 10 minutes. When we politely alerted him he informed us that he was training a new staff!!!
He then asked the new staff give us our keys without letting us know what floor our room was located on. He was just plain rude.. quite unlike the other Hamptons we stayed at in the past.
The lady that made breakfast and the lady at reception the next day were professional and very polite… which was a welcome change.

I just loved the hot breakfast with a range of different options. To be honest I wanted more than my belly can have. And very clean and sanitized. When I entered the room my first smell was Lysol or some sort of disinfectant. Not only did it look clean it smelled clean too. By far one of the cleanliness hotels I’ve stayed at.
Well I didn’t like the smoking directly in front of the hotel. I’m not a smoker and I think it should be an area designated for smoking customers.

Coffee was good and available all the time.
Pool on Hampton Inn Mebane stated pool as an amenity. It didn't say it was closed. :(
Breakfast was scarce. Not replenished. Not enough variety.
Bathroom floor dirty.

I never stayed there was told the pool was up an running even was told the times of operation because I did travel with children an get there the pool was empty ! Note I called twice an staff said it was up an running , I booked 2 hours prior to arriving an would pay at time of getting there . Still got charged an never stayed! I called to explain my concern an they said they would put the money back to my card because it was their mistake on information yet it's still hasn't happened it's been over a week !!!
