Everything was nice. The hotel is clean, the rooms have been updated, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, friendly staff, and free use of the bikes. The bikes were very good and the Rec Trail is right on the edge of the hotel property. Prices were reasonable. I also liked the chairs by the brook, we had a picnic lunch there sitting in the sun after a hike in Smuggler's Notch.
Nothing not to like. Everything was great.

The property's staff, amenities (free bike use, sauna, jacuzzi), breakfast, location and parking were all excellent.
Our room's small size, lack of a closet and outdoor-only entry was disappointing. We booked in January for an October stay and hoped this would provide us with some priority when it came to room assignments. We stayed 3 nights each in Stowe, Franconia, and the Berkshires and this was the most expensive of all the properties we stayed and with the smallest room. We also were the subject of a scam attempt where the scammers knew of our stay here and the dates, which gave us pause to wonder how they came up with the information as we made all the bookings on the same platform.

Location is perfect to explore Stowe and surrounding areas. Friendly staff, delicious full breakfast, clean and big rooms. The grounds are charming and well kept. And they serve warm cider every afternoon! I will recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Breakfast was great. Location to Stowe was important.
I guess we paid market price. It was a little expensive for what you received.
