We requested one of the updated rooms at ground level since they have redone some of their rooms according to other reviews we had read. It was a slight upcharge to do so, but only $20, and money well spent! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We opted to stay 2 nights in Mesquite instead of Las Vegas to go to a concert. We got back to Mesquite pretty late after the show, but the proximity to Vegas is great, and it's a HUGE savings to do so. The hotel is right off the freeway exit, perfect location to use as a starting point.
We did really wish the room had a minifridge, but we made it work since we had a cooler in the back of our car and it was directly outside our door.
