It was very clean, well-decorated, and across the street from Salida's city-owned hot-springs facility, which we took advantage of. the motel has a hot tub and sauna, but we didn't use it.
Had no issues.

We booked the most expensive rooms at the lodge hoping for a nice stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and very spacious.
Our room was close to the road and there was road noise all night. The breakfast area was lackluster. The food OK. This is a motel trying to be a hotel. Just be aware of that. However, it is probably one of the better stays o\in Salida.
