The room was big and comfortable for a family of four. The included breakfast was very pleasant and was stocked with gluten free options. We were not able to really take advantage of the grounds because of rain, but there was a sitting area there along a river that was very pretty.

Very comfortable hotel. Great location. Super nice owners! Breakfast was a plus! Been going for 6+ years and never disappoints !

The owners keep the motel very clean and comfortable. Even with the good reviews I was surprised at the cleanliness and the updated room. When I had to leave before breakfast, which starts at 8am, the owner found me some cereal I could take to my room the night before. The bed was very comfortable, and even my back was happy. If you plan on spending time at the property, there is a beautiful brook with a picnic table nearby and a nice little shaded lawn.
The only complaint was a loud air conditioner that cycled on and off throughout the night. Maybe there was a different setting, but at 3 am I wasn't up to figuring it out. If you are a heavy sleeper or can get a tutorial on the AC first, this may not be a problem for you.
