An enjoyable stay, with hot water, quiet accommodations and friendly staff.

bed was super accomodative to us and we are hard to please, could have used another pillow, just know I would stay again. the train coming each night was the only negative. we enjoyed our 5 days with cold air and a fridge. ALSO the hot shower was impressive and really a nice flow

the train that rain nightly, we both got over it and didn't complain once we spoke of it

Next room to mine smell strong to weed, in the room i found a roach in the bathroom ( i got a picture) the cover of the bed was dirty the lid of the toilet was broke it was because i paid in advance does not refund, we move to another hotel.

Nice, but needs a face lift!

Looks better on pictures, but had enough room for us and the price was right. The owner was very nice. I would stay there again.

Best place if you are on a budget!

I would recommend this place if you are on a budget. The rooms are spacious and they have a microwave! Even some of the best western hotels don't have microwaves! People in St Augustine are in general really warm and that includes the managers at sunset inn. They were really welcoming and made sure that our stay was comfortable. They are making the most out of this inn and are improving it! I appreciate their hard work in keeping guests happy.

Superb

Great location, close to everything. Either very short uber or 20 minute walk to St George street. The highlight was the very friendly staff who were accomadating and gave a easy/quick check in!

Older room, but clean and had everything we needed. Recommended if your focus is on attractions and just need a place to sleep.

Only stay here if every other room in city is booked. Lower expectations

Aging motel on very busy street, with lots of nighttime noise and activity. Bathroom unclean, no amenities and toilet didn't flush. Old stinky smell.

Staff was excellent, friendly and professional!

Underneath the bathroom window the window sill was really dirty, had to wipe it down myself. Other than that the room was sparkling clean. It would be also very nice if they fixed their swimming pool, they have it blocked off and no one is working on it that I saw.. Again, it, it was a great hotel and a great staff

I'll never go there again.

Location

Loud, trains, cars, people walking by you could hear talking... looked like something was going to crawl out of the bathtub drain it was black. Pool wasn't full. It stunk in the room, had to pick up a plug in air freshener. The sheets were scratchy. Toilet paper felt like it was cardboard. Also they gave us an issue with having my sisters service dog with us. I'll never go there again. Very Sketchy place

The Sunset Inn location was good for my business purpose.

The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. I also liked the proximity to the center of town and did enjoy a pleasant bike ride to the castle and walking street.

The bath tub appeared to have a water leak underneath it such that while standing in the tub to take a shower the tub floor buckles and bubbles and water fills underneath it. This can cause damage to the floor, and walls and end up becoming a serious mold issue. (I know because I also own properties.) Some people may also lose their balance while standing there.
