Convenience and location.
I went to check in and I booked pay at the hotel. The front desk had already charged my card and I wanted to use a different card. Also the ac did not work and the condensation line was leaking all over the floor and got on my belongings. I told the lady at checkout. she said she would get that looked at. I believe I should have at least been offered a refund or credit for a stay at a later date at that hotel or one like it.
