Breakfast was excellent. I stayed here for 8 nights and there were different selections for breakfast each morning. Many hotels parade out the same food every morning, so it was nice to have a variety. Both bar and restaurant were wonderful... great ambience, food, and bartenders. Best pizza ever at Basso restaurant! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location near Forest Park and conveniently located a block off I-64. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
There was limited seating for breakfast. Some larger groups had difficulty finding seating.

I enjoy the atmosphere of the Cheshire, and the staff is excellent. The Fox and the Hound and Basso offer good food and drinks. Basso has one of the best happy hours in St. Louis. Try the hamburger and fries. The continental breakfast is fresh and offers enough variety for me. The scrambled eggs are delicious; seasoned well and perhaps prepared with butter. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are cozy.
Some of the furniture and carpets show wear and tear. The seat cushion of the high-back chair in my room was threadbare. The paint in my room's bathroom was peeling, and the shower faucet needed repair, though it worked.

The front desk staff was so nice and attentive.
They added a 50.00 fee for incidentals and still has not been returned to my account.

The location was fine, and the room was lovely. The staff were quite nonchalant. Not rude, but not overly helpful. The breakfast was poor. Poor choice, not enough seating, the area was dirty, and the milk was sour with no replacement offered
