As expected, this was probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The look and feel of the hotel is an experience in itself, and the whole place feels incredibly calm, luxurious, and well thought through. It’s also in a great location for spending a few days in LA. We were upgraded to a much bigger room for our stay, which made it feel even more special. The room was super comfortable, spacious, spotless, and even had its own little garden area, which was a really nice addition. We had room service on the first night, which was excellent, and breakfast in the hotel was just as good. Definitely one of those places we’ll be returning to.

Beautiful, secluded setting nature wise.
It’s run down, especially for how much they charge. Floors, walls, carpets etc seem poorly maintained.
Prices for food and drinks can be astronomical and I found the quality quite mediocre. I got charged $91 usd for an omelette (I did add three egg whites, but still) and it was dry and sad; they did remove it from the bill when I complained.
