Atlantic Beach Resort

Access to the beach, our room was updated very nicely and the property was generally quiet outside of our condo.

The exterior of the buildings needed to be painted and updated to give it a better look. Because the property is 45 years old, it was too easy to hear people in the condos both above and beside us. Also, there is no sign at the main entrance and there are no lights working on the entry to the property.

I loved the beach access and multiple pools. Staff was helpful and responsive. Rooms were clean and comfortable and seemed recently updated with everything we needed. Elevators were great to make the place accessible for my elderly mother. Location is close to shopping center with grocery stores and several restaurants.

Pools needed some TLC. Showers could have used grab bars. The gate for the beach access is not in good condition/needs fixing. I would really appreciate option for airport shuttle as I was visiting from Oregon.

Locations. Nice people and nice resort!

Upstairs neighbors were a bit much with the running at all hours of the day, but I know when you have kids that’s not odd. Not the resorts fault just would have been nice to sleep in with out the herd of elephants over our heads :)

The room was spacious and clean in most areas, and the beach access was great.

During my stay at Atlantic Beach Resort, (still says Peppertree on entrance signs) there were several aspects that we found disappointing. At check-in, the staff member at the far right computer was not friendly, which made for an unwelcoming first impression. Additionally, parking is not included in the cost of your stay. Guests are required to pay separately for parking each day, which was not clearly communicated upfront. The pet fee was another unexpected charge—we had already paid upward of $400 when booking online and assumed all fees were included, but were then charged an additional $100 for our pet, along with $20 for parking for two nights. The building they had us staying in was still under construction as well which was quite loud during the day. The mini-golf area was nearly nonexistent covered with leaves, and we were not able to access the golf equipment. One of the main reasons we chose this resort was for its amenities, specifically the indoor pool and hot tub. However, we were only informed upon arrival that these amenities were unavailable. On top of that, due to it being the end of March, the outdoor pools were not heated, making them unusable as well. This left us unable to enjoy any of the amenities, which was very disappointing and significantly impacted our overall experience. One message from the staff to my phone asking how the stay was going, I informed them how disappointed we were, he offered us a pizza gift card, which we appreciated but when we went to pick it up the men at the counters acted confused and once again quite rude.
