Location and staff.
They didn’t inform guest while booking they were renovating so some things got overlooked.

Breakfast was great, room size and usability was great, with a door partitioning beds from desk and couch living space.
It is newly redone.
IT was SO newly redone, there was still some construction odor - paints, adhesives perhaps. Likely be fine within a month.
When I registered I asked, if I decide to stay another day would they give me the same rate. The lady (owner family?) said yes. Next morning when I asked to stay another day a man (employee) said he was not authorized to give more than a 20% discount. I was adamant about the hotel keeping its commitments. Wasted 10 min of my time, and I was NOT happy with him; he argued that it would be not that much more, so I said then you shouldn't mind paying the difference for me. After his repeated assertions that he couldn't give me the same rate, he did. I DO hate this kind of service/ business. But I was otherwise very happy with the hotel, and also felt quite certain this employee was NOT going to prevail - and I was on my own clock. And the evening lady (owner?) was charming.

Did not have breakfast. The staff was nice.
The OLD bed, crappy old tv. Small crappy pillows. Old dirty carpet and old dirty furniture. Terrible lighting in the bathroom. No updated electrical outlets for charging.
