good motel for one night

Classic American motel, but above average compared to others. Room large and clean enough. Parking in front of the door. Friendly night staff. Silence and feeling of security at night. A stone's throw from McDonald's and other chains for those like us who arrive at night and need to eat something.

I got up very early in the morning to be able to use the hotel's PC, but the lady in reception was unable to find the correct password and I could not use it. She didn't seem very cooperative or kind to me.

Good place to stay one night to have rest from driving. Pets allowed without fee. It was great.

It was a good hotel to stay with pets and kids. We spent one night, and everything was good. Breakfast was a surprise. The staff was friendly. We did check in late at night, and everything was good!

Never Again

The location was good but a lot of traffic.

The first room that I got was dusty and dirty. It was the last room available which was a smoking room, but I don't smoke, but I took it anyway. I was checking out the room, bed, floor and bathroom when I discovered someone had taken a shower and emptied tobacco in the toilet. I called the front desk and had them come take a look. I was rhen moved to a different room. The second room was a non smoking room and much better, until I went to wash my hands and roaches and other bugs came out the drain. I called the front desk they came and said I can move you to another room. At that point I was furious and it was already after 9 pm. I told them I'm too tired to keep moving, so I stayed and left well before check out.

The location was great it was quite, gas station and restaurant very close an convince, the beds are also very comfortable very dark curtains perfect ac/heat

Dirty towels

The location is ok. There was less noise than I expected from being so close to the road.

DIRTY TOWELS. There where dark smudge marks on the towels. When I asked for a replacement, I got another set of towels, but they also had dark smudges on them. Like they where picked up from the ground somewhere.

Nice place to stay if you have very low standards

Room was very outdated. Sheets had stains on them, Couldn't tell if they weren't changed or just real old ones. Wife wouldn't sleep under covers. Towels looked dirty, dingy and stained. Website pics look nice, room not so much. I would recommend hotel buy all new linens and towels.

Poor

There was an odor to the room. The clerk was helpful and gave us some spray but it didn't help. I like the laminate floors, but they obviously hadn't been cleaned because our socks were black. In general the room needed repairs. There were signs stating no breakfast food was to be taken to the rooms, but they only have 3 tables.

The room had lots of amenities and was a great value for the money.

The room was clean and big and had a small refrigerator and microwave. Parking was easy and it was close to a Bojangles which is one of my favorite fast food places. Breakfast had a few more options than expected. The pool area looked very good and I was sorry I didn't have time to try it. Staff were professional and friendly and seemed happy to answer all my questions. And, blessedly, the air conditioner worked very well.

The room looked a little older and could have used a fresh coat of paint. The mattress had a few small lumps and the pillows were all one style which was a little hard for me-so if you're particular, you may want to bring your own pillow. However, I had no more problems with my back than I do at home and I have a fancy bed.

Will not stay there again. Owners were very nice and accommodating

Didn’t eat the breakfast as Waffle House was next door, that was great. The hotel accepted pets and that was great. The owners were very nice and accommodating

The furniture in the room was old and dirty. The room needs to be painted. Baseboard s and parts of the wall have some type of damage. The towels and wash cloth were very stained. The comforter was stained/dirty. The hotel is across the street from a train depot and was always noisy.

Pleasant

It is a good price. The location is good.

I need a bathtub. That is in my file. This room had a shower. The manager is not very pleasant. He will not let me eat breakfast in my room. I do not walk well and try not being around people for virus protection. The pool is not open in midsummer. He seems not to care about customers but only profits.

Combination of everything

The breakfast bags

Blood stains on shower curtain and a bed sheet , bathrooms smelt like pee, ceiling had questionable poop or blood stains. The back on the remote wouldnt stay on, there was two double beds and one of them had a visibly dirty blanket it was dark from dirt. Only hotel I've stayed at where they said no to a late check out (only an hour later) . The whole place went down hill. All the staff were very nice except one lady.
