This is a basic older, clean motel very close to tourist activities at Depoe Bay.

Loved this old fashioned motel

Loved the old ceramic heaters. So much better than the units that blow on you. View of the ocean. Staff upgraded my room.

We won't be back!

The room was clean and stocked with towels & toiletries. The room, however, was not available when we arrived and we had to wait about an hour. The heater worked fine. Parking was right behind the room which was nice, but extremely noisy.

The shower head and the bathroom as a whole was small & cramped and old looking. The bed squeaked when sitting or rolling over in it. The curtains were old and dirty, the door lock could easily be picked as there was no dead bolt, the carpet was dirty. The room as a whole was small and cramped.

Great low budget stay.

Fantastic location and great customer service. Recommended a few restaurants in the area and they were amazing. Walking distance to whale watching, shopping, restrauants, fishing and sight seeing.

Dated room, needs to be remodeled.

This is a lower cost, no-frills motel. It served our purposes by providing the bare-bones basics.

The price was lower than the alternatives. Nice firm bed. No daily maid service. Good location in Depoe Bay across Highway 101 from a city park. It appears to be owned and operated by a family that lives on site--thus why you have to check in by 8pm. The office door is locked after that.

The heater did not work. I bought a $25 space heater at Fred Meyer in Newport and that sufficed. Was never given the wifi password. Cleanliness could have been better. The facilities are very worn, especially the carpet. The showerhead is so low I had to get on my knees to rinse my face. The toilet paper is mounted so low, I think it is for leprechauns.

Great location but, needs a good deep cleaning!

Great location.

If you are going to be an older building, you must be exceptionally clean in order for people to over look you are an older building. There are so many little things that wouldn't cost much to make this place better.

Old place that is run down

Bedspread was old and smelly, fitted sheet has holes in it from too much wear.

The room needs to be deep cleaned and maintained better, it should have a better oder.

I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The location was great. Staff was friendly. Rooms extremely spacious and clean. Wifi was great. Restaurants all over. It's the best bang for your buck.

it was Soo dirty I left at 10 pm to find other accommodations. left the key in that dirty dirty place. I took several pics of the filth for the price is definitely expect CLEAN

great room for price of 2 beds but only one bed usable

microwave and fridge clean and working also tv and wi fi

the extra bed was dirty with crumbs underneath top sheets and burgers all over the top of sheet and side told hotel staff they would not clean or change out for my 5 day stay quoted it was 3 rd party sheets and that they were notified

Occupants and staff were friendly. It was also just across the street from several lookout points and it definitely made it worth it

When we went to check out, there were no staff. It was about 9 AM, and we even rang the night bell twice, so we just left our key in the basket next to the door. In general it was just kind of odd and I was afraid of someone stealing the key.

Ya get what you pay for

There's two TV's for some reason which was cool, and it was cheap. It was also right next to the beach and other businesses we enjoyed.

To be quite honest, this is the direct definition of you get what you pay for. The couch was less the questionable for sitting on by itself so we took the bed spread off of the queen to rest on top of the couch. The table had four legs until we tried to move it, then found out it has three. Someone went through the trouble of disconnecting every cable to the direct TV box in the bedroom from the TV and ripped out the internet cable so that wasn't accessable. The mini fridge is actually just a mini freezer as it froze everything we put in it to keep cool. The walls are paper thin and there are numbers for the parking spots but that wasn't a huge deal until we came back from dinner and all of the spaces were taken by who knows who. I didn't know what to do with the key at the end so I left it in the room and locked the door behind me. I'm hoping that works as the lock is a little suspect on those doors and the screens to the windows were broken into or out of by someone previous who had stayed there. I was halfway back to where we live when I realized I may have gotten a rash on my foot from the shower. The headboard was missing from the room and it looked as though they just ripped it out of the wall and didn't bother to spackle or fix the actual wall with even a fresh coat of paint afterwards. If you've read this far then you realize that $50 doesn't getcha much at the coast these days. It honestly hasn't for years. If you just needed a place to crash as you were passing through then one night would do the trick. There's no chance this is a vacation rental worthy of trying to stay multiple nights as our next wall neighbor had two children that ran around for several hours throughout the day. All and all, you get what you pay for about sums it up I think.

Stressful

Mold in shower, side boards had trash under desks, TV service did not work at all, poor service by management. No one to check us out. We tried to get a cancelation on the room but no management was available to help.

Clean. Comfortable. Great location.

We were happy with our room. It was clean and in well repair inside. It had a separate place to sit on the couch and watch TV or to eat something. Everything worked nicely and we liked the bed. We would come back again. Considering the rate we got it for we were quite happy with our room. Depot bay is a wonderful place to stay and it was nice to be so close to town we could have walked easily.

We specified a check in time of 3 o’clock which was within the window they were supposed to be open but nobody was there and the lights were not on. We went to dinner and came back later to check in. The garbage can in the room had not been emptied. The screen doors were falling off their hinges and wouldn’t latch on some of them so they pounded in the wind. We used a stick to shut the one next-door so it was quiet.

Great place 10/10 would recommend!

Great price, huge room, nice people, only problem was a little bit of room damage from previous people but they were working on fixing it. Honestly not 5 Star hotel but very very good for the price! Plan on going back 100%. Very pleased!

The broken dresser kinda sucked but everything else was great!

Fridge was dirty, pictures on the walls need cleaned and tables were sticky and a little dirty, bad cable on tv, toilet wouldn't flush & bed was very hard,,,
