Country Inn Sonora

We stayed in the "executive" suite, which had a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable The suite was separate from the main building and was very quiet. Lighting was good. There is a private patio with a table and two chairs. The location is excellent - close to Sonora and Columbia and a reasonable distance from Big Trees.

The WIFI didn't work. We were surprised at some things that were not included. In the kitchen- no dish soap, no dish towels, no cutting board, no large fry pan (just two small ones), no large pot for making pasta, for example. There is an oven, but no oven-safe cookware. If one is only making breakfast and packing a lunch to go, it's okay. Cooking dinner could be a problem. In the bathroom: no bath mat, no safety bars in shower.

Pool wasn’t clean and for parents that sucked, daughter wanted to swim but, it wasn’t the end of the world!😊

Floors were nasty not cleaned my socks were black did not want to walk barefoot. Need to mop the floors

The ladies at check-in were very friendly.

It’s a much older hotel. Bathroom is very small. Dog walking area was just an area by a dumpster. Parking in the back wasn’t great. People parked behind us and blocked us in. Drains didn’t have any cover over them and the water tasted terrible. The bed was not made neatly.
