Fantastic service, views, and amenities

We loved the location right on the lake, including our view from our room. We loved the restaurant on site, pool, hot tub, and everyone's friendliness. One of the best places I've stayed at.

Bed was too firm, but that's just how it is to sleep away from home.

the beds suck in double rooms , the bathrooms are way to small and toilet roll needs to be raised and a bar needs to be on wall if toilet seat is going to be that low

So……motel part- great. Restaurant- not good.

Room very comfortable. Beds, comfy chair, shower- very good. Pool was warmer and nicer than most hotels.

“Special Requests” Was a part of reserving online so I wrote: “Mom and I are vegetarians. Almond milk for breakfast would be greatly appreciated. Also, moms elderly cousin and his son are meeting us Saturday evening, 3/18 for dinner at your restaurant. So please, have a vegetarian option. Thank you very much for the consideration.” At check-in, the gal at the desk was unsympathetic. My cousin called the restaurant to reserve a table and asked if they had a vegetarian option and was told yes. There were no vegetarian meals. Short, middle-aged wait-gal was rude and snippy. She also thinks salmon is a veg meal! View was not park-like, it was parking lot. We asked if we could step outside after breakfast from the dining room to take a photo and was told yes, we were out there 2 minutes and locked out by perhaps the same waitress. Not impressed with Breakfast included only to find it’s a very limited menu.

Wonderful location on the lake. My room was spotless and the staff was wonderful. It was very convenient to have a great restaurant on site

If you come to Two River's stay there. Great place!

Service was awesome. Very kind, considerate staff. Genuinely cared about taking care of what you needed. Very friendly, courteous staff as we checked in and same way when we left. Highly recommend this place. Right by the lake. They must cleanup by the beach near hotel because that area was also clean, free of garbage and debris.

I thought everything was done well; from service, caring attitude, genuine concern for your welfare.

Very good

The building needs a little updating. When we walked in the side door that was closer to our room there was a bad smell in the hallway. Everything else was good.

So needed and SO RELAXING!!!

you are right on the lake. the sound of the waves was amazing & so relaxing! The staff was super friendly

It is a little dated but it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again. There was a drunk woman the next door over on the floor being loud after 10:30pm. She was respectful and said she was sorry. Thankfully nothing else happened. The menu needs a bit more non-seafood items on the menu.

Lakeside stay

The location was great. Good views over the Lake. Plenty of parking. Easy access to lakeside walks.

Noise from corridors, even when people were simply moving about. Quality of furniture in rooms and public areas. Limited nature of breakfast and only a $6 allowance against main menu items.

Stayed the night on the Shore of Lake Michigan in a Lake View Room- What's not to Love ?

great for a quick getaway.

the view is awesome - our room looked over the lake - we enjoyed watching the pelican and various boats going by. the bed was far comfier than we thought it would be given the creaking lol. we liked the 'homey' quilt on the bed.

this hotel would be amazing , and worth more per night with some updating!

After bad travel experiences, Lighthouse Inn was a breath of fresh air.

Sit down breakfast, and complimentary, in this day and age is tremendous benefit. Room was fine, beds comfortable. Very cordial, helpful, friendly staff. Great value.

Very little. Lack of steak on dinner menu meant we needed to go elsewhere for dinner. Coffee in room was not satisfactory and no coffee in lobby.

No hair dryer and the coffee machine had such a short cord in it, we had to move the table around so it could reach

Was suppose to be a relaxing time to reconnect with family after 2 years of a pandemic.

Bartender was very nice.

Service for breakfast was horrible. Waitress did not get my order right, food was cold. She had a busboy bring the correct food. Waitress NEVER came back to see how the food was or if we needed anything else. Had to go in serarch of our bill. Got the wrong bill presented to us. We will not be BACK!!!!

excellent view, personal service from one of the owners, Jim. He was all over the dining room helping the staff. hot tub was nice.

Loved the lake view. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious n very clean.

Only bad thing to say would be the waitress at the restaurant never came back to check on us..after a long time I finally had to get a different waitress to refill drinks n get dessert n check

I'd return.

The price was lowered when we arrived and we were allowed into our room well before the check-in time. Right along the lake. Pool, hut tub, restaurant and bar. All nice. Friendly staff. Nice area too.

Our dinner was excellent. Service a little slow especially since it was not very busy.

Super value

Beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Very quaint town with nice restaurants in the area. Nearby hiking at Point Beach State Park. Great value, rooms came with breakfast coupons, modest exercise room and friendly staff.
