It was stressful & not a good place.

Nothing

The clerk & staff treated us like crap because we were homeless. They were rude & wouldn't let us get our food. The motel across the street was $100 less with bigger rooms & nicer staff. Will never go to motel 6 again& i tell everyone i know not to go there.

Extremely good value for money, but you get what you pay for

Extremely good value for money - on a road-trip, where we were watching the cost of each night's stay, this was the cheapest stay of the trip. Friendly staff (though see our comment on check-in below).

On arrival, the receptionist appeared to ignore us and then departed to do other duties. We waited over 5 minutes, including calling out a couple of times to announce our presence. Finally, a lady came and served us and explained that the receptionist did not speak English. I said the receptionist should have asked her colleague to attend. She said that this had happened. So basically, we were ignored for 5 minutes on arrival. That said, the lady that did serve us was friendly and helpful. Property was quite noisy overnight, with people making noise while arriving / departing during the night, and a truck stop on site. I didn't get a great night's sleep. Shower head was really low so we had to stoop to have showers. Also it did not turn off properly and dripped all night. Sadly, the swimming pool was closed for repainting - really this should have been done in the Spring, not at the end of July.

Avoid this if you can

Well-located for a night on the road.

This motel is dirty and run-down. Our first room had cigarette burns on the bedspread and the door had been previously broken at the handle. The room they moved us to was dirty with hair, dust, crumbs, and dirt on the floor. The mattress was so caved in that it resembled sleeping in a hammock. The pool and laundry room, neither of which we intended to use, were out of service.

Very good

There was no breakfast just coffee which I don't drink anyways so it was fine. And the location was pretty good. Close to stores not too far away.

Everything was good pretty much. I really don't have anything to complain about.

First thing this go around Two very excellent staff members of the Motel 6 right here in Porterville are Javier and Tina who were exceptional. Briefly I'll say this, I had a situation where my son wanted to play his Xbox and I couldn't dig into the settings to set the TV'S HDMI to operate the Xbox. Tina went room to room and found me a remote that would take care of my issue, Thank you Tina!

I do a lot of doordashing, and so when I come back from my my runs of the orders I complete for doordash my wife tells me that she's got all these sheets that are dirty that we need to change out with some good sheets and that she asked a staff member with those sheets to to supply those sheets for us and she flat out told my wife no I didn't like hearing that but that's where my friend Javier the part of the Motel 6 comes in and he handled the situation he gave me clean sheets thank you Javier

Very good

Easy to get to the place, plenty of places to eat, it was clean. My room was inside the property and it was quiet. There is a highway close by, and I can sense that the highway can be noisy if one occupies a room facing the highway. But as I mentioned, my room was away from highway and I slept well. Staff were very helpful.

I have nothing to complain about today.

the staff was rude, there were roaches, power turned off for 8 hours because their dead tree fel on power line, hot water off for 2 days, made false accusations about me with no proof, awful experience
