The location
Our friends’ booking was canceled last minute due to overbooking. It had been 10 years since we last saw them, and we were unable to spend more time together. To make matters worse, the hotel charged a 55-dollar parking fee even though we didn’t have a car to park. Fortunately, I noticed this after returning to the hotel from miles away and corrected the bill. They also gave a us a room with sea view but we were unable to see the sea.

The location and direct independent access to the room (not via reception)
The aircon unit in the room was a bit too noisy. No option to turn it down to quiet mode, so at night I switched it off, but on hot days this might not be the best option.
