It was just fine; but a little "tired"

The Good: Great location. Staff were very nice. Coffee bar and open areas were updated and comfortable. Did not use pool so cannot comment.

I'm frankly surprised by the positive reviews. Hotel appears to be several decades old but was somewhat updated in what appears to be the early 2000's. Air conditioning unit was awful, either freezing or hot with no humidity reduction. The humidity in the room was astronomical. We called down and mentioned how uncomfortable it was and a maintenance person came up the next day and left a small countertop dehumidifier in the room. It unfortunately did not help much. This is a known issue as there's a placard on the door going to balcony that suggests keeping door closed for humidity reason. Also, the beds were quite lumpy and probably need replacement. Tiny bathroom. Coffee is not available until 7:30am. which really bummed out my spouse who is an early riser.
