River Cove Elegant Waterfront Bed & Breakfast

The just were really sweet and did all they could to make you feel comfortable. The trees and river were also lovely.

The neighbor hood is a bit rundown but the property feels secluded from this. The rooms to me feel a bit small but for a bed and breakfast they are probably pretty standard.

We liked that there was a fireplace that we could sit by. The view was beautiful! We liked the privacy and the ambiance. We liked visiting with the owner as well. The breakfast was delicious and healthy.

No heat in the bedroom we stayed in, there was all kinds of heat in the sitting area but not in the bedroom. The weather prevented us from taking full advantage of enjoying the grounds.

Breakfast was spectacular! Full sit down breakfast served with a smile. Our host was very warm and friendly and the property was beautiful.

This is a single-family home on manicured grounds above the Spokane River. The breakfast was well-prepared but guests are not offered any choices. The innkeeper is very friendly and attentive.

The home was built in 1994 according to the innkeeper but does not appear to have been updated. Furnishings and appointments are tired. The upstairs guest room was a bit cluttered with nick-nacks. There was no in-suite control for the heating/air conditioning. The linens were old and laundered with perfumed detergent. The sitting room could have used a table or desk to write. The location is not convenient to Coeur d'Alene which is a 15-minute drive away. We didn't find any local attractions. The access to the Spokane River is steep and unimproved.
