The location is really good for who wants to stay out of Yosemite National Park because it is very close to the entrance nearest Yosemite Valley. It is easy to park there, right in front of our room. Our room was spacious and had a balcony with a great view to the mountains around. We didn’t enjoyed the pools but they seemed to be very nice and good. Don’t miss the Merced river’s beach in front of the lodge. It is really beautiful and you can enjoy and swim there if you have time.
It would be good if the room had a desk in addition to the small dining room. We missed having more furniture to place our belongings. Lights in the bathroom don’t have a switcher, only a presence sensor. It is really annoying because you can not keep the lights off while you are in the bathroom.
