It’s close to restaurants, gas station and the golf course.
It’s got some older vinyl flooring in the bathroom that doesn’t quite meet up to the wall/tub. Maybe that could be redone/fixed? It’s still a very good value and clean.

I picked this motel because of the positive reviews and it was directly on our route. The room was upgraded and spotless as advertised, which is the most important thing for me. You could tell that a lot of work went into renovating the rooms and although I am not really into 'vibes', it did have a cool and relaxed feeling.
The only two issues were the location, which was literally on the main road through town. Semi trucks went through constantly throughout the night and at times felt like Joe Pesci in My Cousin Vinnie. I am a deep sleeper so it didn't bother me too much. The biggest issue for me was in spite of the great work put into the room, our door to the room didn't feel secure at all. The door and lock felt more like a service door to your garage and would be pretty easy to get into, we never left the room once we got in so it was not a huge deal.

The bed & linens were good and the room was very clean. I personally also liked the a/c unit since it was noisy enough to be my white noise machine. Room 28 was back from the road so we didn't get a lot of truck noise. The ice machine was great.
The front door had a big gap, the linoleum floor in the bathroom was not properly installed / looked ratty and the sink was very old & scratched. But that wasn't the largest issue - it was the pillows - they were very hard. Also not as big a deal but still - there wasn't coffee offered in the morning & the coffee packet in the room was below par. Many reviews listed the inn as having a cool 50's vibe but I felt it was underwhelming. Not sure what I expected but well, it was quite a modern looking but old room to me. Nothing was a deal-stopper - just not as good as other reviews tended to state, IMO.
